Tirif is a free School Management Information System (School Administration Software) for schools to manage and organize their school records. Our aim is to build a software solution that assist schools in developing countries to transition from paper-based systems to electronic systems to improve their administration efficiency. To reach that aim, we have acknowledged that every school have different requirements, and that is why we tailor our software to schools rather than providing one universal solution for all to use. Our software differ from other solutions in that, firstly, the software is not web based, but standalone and platform independent. This makes it easy for teachers with limited computer literacy skills to install and use as the software do not require one to possess knowledge to run and maintain web and database servers. The software runs on major operating systems, including, Microsoft Windows, Apple macOS and Linux. Secondly, the software runs well on low-cost hardware such as second hand and refurbished computers as those are often used in schools in developing countries.
Features include:
- Student and Class Registration
- Subject Registration
- Attendance
- Gradebook
- Support for Local Languages
We are always looking for ways to improve our software to meet your requirements and welcome your questions and suggestions.
Features currently being developed:
- Reports
- Library Management
We hope that you will enjoy using the software as much as we enjoy building it.
